TAKE FIVE is a meditation that you can do anywhere! We find that it can be a quick way to reset when feeling distracted or overwhelmed. After a brief pause with this exercise, it is often easier to think.
Here’s how it works:
You will use one hand to trace along the fingers of your other hand.
Breathe in as you slowly trace upwards on each finger.
Breathe out as you slowly trace downwards.
In the end, you will have taken five slow breaths. The feeling of tracing you hand is also often soothing.
