Meet Your Team
Allison is a licensed speech language pathologist (SLP) and owner of Blossom Neuro Speech & Wellness. She received her Master’s degree from the University of Kentucky in 2017, after her own medical events sparked a desire for a career where she could empower others to advocate for their needs. She found a passion working with neurogenic populations and believes the foundation of a therapeutic partnership lies in person-centered and collaborative care with an emphasis on life participation.
Allison is also a Pure Barre instructor, has training in mindfulness and meditation, is certified in Love Your Brain Yoga for health providers, and has completed the Certified Brain Injury Specialist training. She believes holistic cognitive-communication goals should incorporate physical and emotional wellness and uses principles of mindfulness and movement in her therapy approach.
In her spare time, Allison can be found reading a book, working on a home renovation project, or petting her dog, Ernie.
