Taking care of your brain when there is lots to get done

We wanted to share our top tips for planning and organizing during the holidays. While these are nice for all of us, individuals experiencing brain fog and cognitive fatigue have found them particularly helpful. Don't forget to take care of your body, mind, and spirit!

  • Keep all gifts, decorations, & wrapping in the same place

  • Start cooking, wrapping, or shopping a day before you think you need to

  • Enlist help & delegate tasks to others

  • Keep a running list of items purchased versus items needed

  • Don't be afraid to say no! Take time for yourself

  • To reduce burnout, assess energy level each day & pick tasks accordingly
